Hi, I'm Aven!
I write sci-fi stories about people navigating impossible spaces. With my writing, I aim to make unlikely connections feel like small, defiant miracles.
My stories are space operas with heart. I love writing the quiet moments, deep conversations, and about the intimacy of trusting someone with your life when you're lightyears away from home. I feel that the the best sci-fi doesn't predict the future. Instead, it asks us all better questions about where we are in the present day.
When I'm not world-building, you can find me playing video games, reading, or tinkering.
